2015 Billboard Music Awards Review

What's up guys? This is my 2015 Billboard Music Awards review. This was an amazing night with a lot of good performances, presenters, and awards. Before we get started, I will be using a color code to identify how much I liked each performance, here it is:

A- - A+: Outstanding
B- - B+: Interesting
C- - C+: Average
D- - D+: Uninteresting
F: Horrible

The Billboard Music Awards hosts were Ludacris, in my opinion who was pretty good at hosting. The other host was Chrissy Teigen. Chrissy was quite rude during the show. She didn't help up the poor woman who tripped over her dress, and she was making fun of Meghan Trainor for some of the awards show about doing a duet with her husband, John Legend.

Music Video Premiere: Taylor Swift/Kendrick Lamar-Bad Blood

This was absolutely hands down the best music video I have ever seen. The picture quality was amazing. I loved how the video was set up and there was a lot of action, and of course generous Taylor asked some of her famous friends like Zendaya and Ellie Goulding to be in the video.

Rate: Outstanding

Fall Out Boy/Wiz Khalifa-Uma Thurman

This was okay, not really anything that interesting. Fall Out Boy was decent in this, but Wiz Khalifa didn't add much to the song.

Rate: Average

Nick Jonas-Jealous

This wasn't bad. I actually thought it was pretty good. Even though I can't stand the song anymore, Nick rocked this performance. Well done.

Rate: Outstanding

Hozier-Take Me To Church

This was okay. I mean, the song is just so ridiculously old I can't even stand it anymore. The performance wasn't horrible though.

Rate: Average

Kelly Clarkson-Invincible

This wasn't bad. This song isn't bad either. I thought Kelly did a pretty good job with this. Overall, it was pretty decent.

Rate: Interesting

Ed Sheeran-Bloodstream

I'm just glad that he didn't perform Thinking Out Loud. If he did, I probably would've died. Seriously. I am not a fan of this song, but the performance was okay.

Rate: Average

Meghan Trainor/John Legend-Like I'm Gonna Lose You

I like this song. It's pretty decent. I just love the way Meghan and John just kept the song the way it is when they performed it on stage. Overall, it was pretty decent.

Rate: Interesting

Britney Spears/Iggy Azalea-Pretty Girls

This performance was awesome. Definitely the way to kick off a world premiere performance. Wonderful job!

Rate: Outstanding

Jussie Smollett/Yazz/Estelle-Conquer and You're So Beautiful

This wasn't bad. I don't watch Empire but I just thought the performance was pretty good.

Rate: Interesting

Van Halen-Panama

I hate rock music. Hate it. This was okay...thirty years ago!!!!!

Rate: Horrible

Little Big Town/Faith Hill-Girl Crush

I like this song a lot. This was a very relaxed and great performance. I thought it was pretty good.

Rate: Interesting

Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth/Lindsey Stirling-See You Again

This was a tear jerker. Oh, how amazing this performance was. It was so good. I just wanted to cry when the video came up on the screen towards the end. Just incredible.

Rate: Outstanding

Mariah Carey-Vision Of Love and Infinity

This was not fun to watch. Never really been a fan of Mariah Carey.

Rate: Uninteresting

Tori Kelly-Nobody Love

I thought Tori Kelly did real good in this. This was a pretty nice acoustic performance.

Rate: Interesting

Kanye West-All Day and Black Skinhead

This was horrific. You could only hear him for 20% of his performance due to swearing. 20%! He deserved to be booed. Sorry Kanye, but you did.

Rate: Horrible

Nicki Minaj/David Guetta-The Night Is Still Young and Hey Mama

Great job! Really good performance Nicki and David!

Rate: Outstanding

Pitbull/Chris Brown-Fun

Pretty decent. This added a lot of life to the show. Great job Pitbull and Chris.

Rate: Interesting

Imagine Dragons-Stand By Me

This was boring. I am so sick of the Imagine Dragons. Ugh.

Rate: Uninteresting

Simple Minds-Don't You(Forget About Me)

I actually enjoyed this. It was really good, in fact.

Rate: Interesting

  1. I hate to sound rude, but 20% of the performance was BLEEPED. Out of 5:18, 1:02 was censored. Not the other way around. If you could only hear a minute of Kanye's performance…..…yeah, that would be unbelievable. D:
