The Hot 45 Chart - Week Of February 20, 2016

Hey fam! Welcome back to The Hot 45 Chart, with the hottest hits of today! As a refresher, this chart is about how many times I have heard a song in a given week, and my opinion on it, as well as the popularity of each song. Before we get rolling with this week's chart, let's take a flashback into the top 5 of last week's chart. Jumping two spots to #1 for the first time was David Guetta/Sia/Fetty Wap - Bang My Head. Roaring four spots to #2 was Never Forget You from Zara Larsson and MNEK. The #3, Ellie Goulding - Something In The Way You Move declines one spot. Taylor Swift drops out of the top spot after the fourth non consecutive week there to #4 with Out Of The Woods. Zayn managed to push six spots with Pillowtalk and snatch the #5 spot. Will Bang My Head continue to hold the crown? Or will Never Forget You, Something In The Way You Move, Out Of The Woods, or even Pillowtalk relieve it of its time at #1? Hang on to find out! Now let's get to the exits.

Out Of The Countdown:

  • Carly Rae Jepsen - Your Type (#35)
  • Justin Timberlake - Drink You Away (#39)
  • Shaggy/Pitbull/Gene Noble - Only Love (#42)
  • Gwen Stefani - Used To Love You (#43)
  • Nathan Sykes/Ariana Grande - Over And Over Again (#45)

I have one thing to say. I just want to say that we have not been acting like a blog fam lately. We need to stop criticizing each other over our opinions and overloading comment sections with ridiculous and needless comments. We need to get back to being the blog fam we were a few months ago. We all used to talk, get along, and share our viewpoints on music respectfully. We aren't doing that anymore and we need to be. I know that we can all do this if we think positively. One more thing. The Q&A Post will be out sometime this week. Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday. We will see. I just realized that I had 43 pages of a nonfiction novel to read for homework, so this was late.

Are we out of the woods yet?

Love ya fam!

~ Jack :)
